Without doubt, freelancing is a rewarding career. At the same time it is challenging. If you want to be your own boss, you should take freelancing. You may be a graduate looking for a job or an employee dreaming about freelancing after years of commuting, these guidelines may help you identifying your first customer.
The first thing I want to warn you is about running your own business. It is not easy. So at first hand you have to list the pros and cons of going freelance. Take time to think and decide. Because, freelance doesn’t suit everybody.
Create a brand name for your service. While choosing a name, you should consider various things before arriving at a final decision. It should be a professional one and must not offend anybody. Consider having a website. It attracts employer.
As a freelancer it is not necessary for you to work as an individual. You can also add friends and people you know and make it as a small company. It adds reliability to your service and it always works. But you must understand your responsibility as a owner or as a partner.
